The sleepy village of Pyla is a 2min walk from Pyla resort, a few minutes drive from the sea and approximately 10mins drive to Larnaca.  Pyla has a population of around 1500 people, with approximately 1000 Greek Cypriots and 500 Turkish Cypriots living there.  Greek and Turkish Cypriots have lived together in Pyla for 100s of years - and this is reflected by both the Greek Orthodox church and the Muslim Mosque with Minarett.  Within the village, there are a few small supermarkets, bars and restaurants.  There is also a medieval tower and an ancient Royal Tomb - both of which are free of charge and well worth a look.    Made with Xara The Royal Tomb at Pyla Pyla Village - some other points of interest There is plenty more to explore - so why don’t you get in touch and organise your rental today, and find out for yourself?
